Velvet and TimberSoul are easy to care for and can be cleaned just like your regular shutters. Simply dust them regularly with a soft cloth or duster, and wipe away any marks as needed with a lightly damp cloth. The low-sheen finishes also help reduce the visibility of dust, fingerprints and everyday marks, so your shutters look cleaner for longer.

No. Our new premium finishes are an alternative to our regular paint and stain finishes and are included in the price of your shutters where available. This means you can choose the finish that best suits your home without paying a premium for the new look.

Our regular satin finish has a smoother surface with a slightly higher sheen, while the new Velvet finish has a low-sheen, subtly textured appearance that softly diffuses reflected light. The result is a softer, more contemporary look and feel. For a closer comparison, read our blog post.
