Did you know the textile industry is one of the world’s biggest polluters, contaminating soil and waterways with
chemicals and microplastics. Producing just one kilo of cotton can consume around 8,000 litres of water, while
fabric dyeing adds further waste and toxins to the environment. And after all that, most fabric window coverings
last less than a decade before ending up in a landfill.<\/p>

At MYT, we believe there’s a better way. Our shutters are made to last a lifetime – crafted from sustainably
sourced materials, coated with low-VOC, water-based paints, and produced in our own facilities where water is
filtered and reused to reduce waste. We even recycle our cut-offs, ensuring nothing goes to landfill unnecessarily.<\/p>
